Senoir Services Center of Will County

The Senior Services Center of Will County’s 17 th Annual Dinner and Auction, “Remembering the Past . . .Anticipating the Future,” was held on the evening of Friday, April 20, 2007 in the Ballroom at the Empress Casino.

The evening began with a welcome from Masters of Ceremonies, Lynne Lichtenauer, Mary Lancaster and Natalie Manley.

Bernadine Hudson, Senior Services Center of Will County , Board of Director’s President and Pat Hensley, Senior Services Center of Will County , Executive Director thanked everyone for their support.

The invocation was conducted by Herb Brooks, Pastor & SSC CCU Staff. The tables were beautifully decorated with flowers sponsored by Vince McGirr, Senior Services Center of Will County Board of Directors.

Many people, like Bob and Frances Leckrone, danced and enjoyed the music provided by the talented Teddy Lee Orchestra.

The silent auction provided a variety of items that were up for bid. The evening also included a live auction conducted by John Knudson, Auctions and Appraisals.

In addition, the raffle was a huge success with prizes including a television and home theatre system donated by Grant’s Appliances, Electronics & More.

The Friends of the Center Award, which recognizes individuals and

organizations who have supported our mission, was awarded to Joliet Township for their dedicated and continued support.

The Shining Star Award, which honors and individual who shines above the rest, was awarded to Rev. Jim Allen for his ongoing care and commitment to make the community a better place.
