Nutrition Program

The senior nutrition program is for all seniors, regardless of income. The program serves singles and couples. The only requirements are the participants must be 60 years of age or older and residents of Will County.

Good nutrition demands discipline at any age. But for those of us 60 and older, preparation and diet restrictions can be bothersome and inconvenient.

Meals are served Monday thru Friday between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

About our meals
Meals are designed for the adult appetite.

• Low in salt
• Calorie controlled
• Individually portioned
• Tasty and Nutritious
• Diabetic desserts available

A complete nutritional analysis is available for you to discuss with your doctor or dietician.

About cost
You are asked to make a fair share contribution toward your meal. A suggested contribution chart is posted at each site.

You are welcome to dine with us if you are unable to contribute. Guests under 60 years old are welcome, but are asked to pay the full cost of the meal.

Dining Centers
Senior Services Center of Will invites seniors to enjoy good food and good company at one of its convenient noon nutrition sites.

To make reservations, call the dining room nearest to you two days in advance.

Attending a nutrition program is a good way to find out about events going on in your community, to stay informed about issues affecting seniors, and to get involved in activities.

from 11:00am - 1:00pm
for lunch.

Take a lunch break, stay and socialize, or bring your lunch home!
You must fill out an order form available in the front office
and drop it off in the kitchen.

Staff and clients $2.00 suggested donation
Staff under 60 years of age $5.00
