"Meals on Wheels" and Congregate Dining

“March for Meals”

The Senior Services Center of Will County holds an annual “March for Meals” fundraising initiative to benefit our Nutrition Programs this past March. “March for Meals” seeks to raise public awareness about senior meal programs and their needs, raise funds to enable the provision of services locally to meet those needs and recruit volunteers to assist in the delivery of services to a growing client population.

“Mayors for Meals”

The Senior Services Center of Will County holds an annual "Mayors for Meals" initiative. On a designated day in March, Mayors, Township Supervisors and Representatives from all over Will County deliver meals to seniors within their community. The purpose of this initiative is to raise public awareness about senior meal programs and their needs.
