Classes/Activities

Senior Services Activities Department offers an extensive selection of social recreational programs including: card games, workshops, holiday and theme parties, luncheons, classes and special events. Many activities and informational programs are provided at satellite sites throughout Will County. Day and extended trips are offered to persons of all ages

  • Day Trips- Senior Services day trips are chartered motor coach tours that offer convenient pick up locations throughout the Will County. You may choose from sports events, dinner theatre, musicals, fairs, shopping trips, holiday tours, concerts and festivals.

  • Extended Trips- Throughout the year Senior Services offers extended trips to exciting destinations through Mayflower and Fancy Free Tours to such places as New York & Ellis Island; Branson, Missouri; and international destinations.

    Educational Opportunities
    Senior Services offers special interest classes and educational opportunities including:
  • 55 Alive mature driving classes
  • Crafts-needlework, quilting, ceramics, arts and crafts studio
  • Hobbies-woodworking/industrial arts
  • Line Dancing classes
  • Rules of the Road
  • SeniorNet Learning Center
    (computer classes for persons age 50 and over).
  • Speech reading (sponsored by Trinity Services)
  • Informational programming such as insurance counseling,
    legal assistance and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) are offered.
